The obsession I developed with fly fishing spilled over into painting funky fish in March, 2023. It all began with an old painting that needed some touch-up. The paint was there, and the idea of this textured, colorful fish was waiting. After a few tries, what appeared on the canvas was beyond what I thought I could create. My art depicts fish using an unconventional approach, capturing the feeling of being on the river through painting.

Two years after creating funky fish, I have added the O.G. Rooster and Blue Pig, so you have more choices.
